Congrats on making it to the end of another work week! Before you leave for the weekend, we’d like you to meet seven new coworkers who’ll be joining Funimation’s romcom department this month in My Senpai is Annoying.
The upcoming anime series uploaded daily promo videos for each character over the last week:
Futaba Igarashi, voiced by Tomori Kusunoki (WONDER EGG PRIORITY).
A junior in status and size, Futaba finds her senpai utterly annoying…but what are these feelings?!
Harumi Takeda, voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi (Akudama Drive).
A well-built middle-aged man who always cares for his coworkers, especially Futaba.
Touko Sakurai, voiced by Saori Hayami (The Honor at Magic High School).
She’s popular among her male coworkers, but Touko only has eyes for her crush…
Souta Kazama, voiced by Reiou Tsuchida (Ikebukuro West Gate Park).
A sort of expressionless senpai whose hobby is gaming.
Natsumi Kurobe, voiced by Reina Aoyama (Moriarty the Patriot).
Futaba’s childhood friend and a lover of practical jokes that does her best to aid Futaba in all matters of work, life and love.
Yuto Sakurai, voiced by Yui Horie (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?).
Touko’s younger brother who’s at the age where he’s thinking about a lot of things and gets worried.
Mona Tsukishiro, voiced by Aoi Koga (Kaguya-sama: Love is War).
Touko’s coworker and friend who has an odd way of speaking.
We can’t wait to meet this entertaining crew for real when the first episode airs on October 9!
Based on the web manga by Shiromanta, My Senpai is Annoying is being directed by Ryota Ito at studio Doga Kobo (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle), with series composition by Yoshimi Narita and character designs by Shigemitsu Abe.
