We’re getting closer to the December release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the movie set before the events of the blockbuster anime series! Studio MAPPA recently shared even more character designs from the highly anticipated theatrical release in Japan and we. Can’t. Wait.
At the end of September, we got our first look at everyone’s favorite Jujutsu Tech teacher, Satoru Gojo.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel to the television series, shows us a younger Gojo with a white blindfold rather than the dark cloth we’re used to seeing. One bright blue eye peeks out from beneath it.
Students Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki and Panda join main character Yuta Okkotsu in another new set of character art that promises all the cursed technique action we love. They have slightly different looks as well, especially Maki and Inumaki’s hairstyles.
Based on Volume 0 of the manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is the story of first-year student Yuta who’s plagued by the spirit of his late childhood friend, Rika Orimoto. Yuta enrolls in the school at the urging of Jujutsu Tech instructor Satoru Gojo and learns about Curses. Can he wield cursed energy and free himself of the dangerous spirit once and for all?
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is set for a theatrical release in Japan on December 24.
