Objection! Capcom has officially launched a website for its 20th anniversary celebration of the Ace Attorney franchise!

The first entry in the series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, was released in Japan on October 12, 2001, for Gameboy Advance, before a global release on the Nintendo DS in 2005.

Ace Attorney is not limited to games, but has been developed in various ways such as TV animation, manga, live-action movies, theatrical performances, mystery-solving events, and orchestras,” wrote the Ace Attorney series development team on the website. “I think this is not something that Capcom alone can achieve, but proof that it has been supported by many people. We really appreciate it.”

The team continued: “We will continue to do our best to enjoy the Ace Attorney series in various ways, so we hope you will continue to work with us for a long time.”

The website also has announcements for a few events. The “Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Character Exhibition” kicked off on October 11 and will run through October 18 on the 7th floor of the Parco Factory in Ikebukuro.

Illustrator Yusuke Nakamura will also have some Ace Attorney goods drawn up for the 20th anniversary. Some online orders and sales will be available and accepted until October 31 at the Capcom Store. They will be released on November 19!

Series art director and character designer Kazuya Nuri will be providing some artwork for the celebration as well, with his illustrations releasing on December 17. Some of them will also be available for online orders and sales until October 31.

Additionally, a History section at the bottom of the site says “coming soon,” keeping fan hopes high for a brand-new game announcement during the anniversary.
