Toei Animation and Funimation to Co-Host Global Livestream Celebrating One Piece Episode 1000

For the One Piece anime, it all started on October 20, 1999, when Toei Animation brought Monkey D. Luffy and his colorful crew of Straw Hat pirates to life and sent them on a voyage that’s now spanned 22 years, becoming one of the most beloved anime franchises in the world!

We’re excited to announce that in celebration of and coinciding with One Piece Episode 1000, Toei Animation has partnered with us for a very special livestream event on November 20 at 3 p.m. PST.

Hosted by YouTuber and One Piece superfan RogersBase, this livestream event will be broadcast globally on Funimation’s and Toei Animation’s official YouTube channels, as well as the One Piece official Facebook page.
