It’s a hole in two for golf anime, because another original project, Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-, has just been announced!
Bandai Namco Pictures, who is producing the anime, unveiled a key visual, staff and cast for the series:

Akari Kito (Toilet-bound Hanako-kun) and Asami Seto (JUJUTSU KAISEN) will be hitting the course as Eve and Aoi Amawashi, who take on the world of golf with opposing play styles.
Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire) is driving the series as director, with Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia) as scriptwriter and Kohmi Hirose (Cardcaptor Sakura) as theme song performer.
Yostar Pictures revealed their own original golf anime, Sorairo Utility, earlier this week. Since it centers on a group of high school girls, we’re in for two unique takes on the sport next year!
