Do vampires get stage fright, or is it just stake fright? We may soon find out, since the anime adaptation (rather than the manga) of The Case Study of Vanitas is inspiring a stage play!
A stylish key visual was unveiled with the announcement, along with the main staff and cast:

Akira Yamazaki (Kaiji stage play) is writing and directing the adaptation, with Keisuke Ueda as Vanitas, Shuji Kikuchi as Noé, Ami Nojo as Jeanne, Miki Sawada as Dominique and Haruki Kiyama as Roland.
The stage play is set to open at Theatre 1010 in Tokyo on January 21 next year, and will run until January 30. Part 2 of the anime adaptation is due out Winter 2022.
