In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki Anime Announced for 2022

As a ninjutsu master of the all-female Akane ninja clan, Tsubaki is sworn to a life of secrecy away from men…until they’re all she can think about. In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki is now the third manga by Soichiro Yamamoto to be adapted into anime with the reveal of a teaser visual and trailer for the upcoming comedy series.

The trailer previews Yuko Natsuyoshi (Assault Lily BOUQUET) as the titular Tsubaki and the anime’s ending theme song, “Akane-gumi Katsudō Nisshi ~Inuhan~.”

Soichiro Yamamoto, who also created Teasing Master Takagi-san and When Will Ayumu Make His Move?, posted a special illustration to celebrate the anime’s announcement.

Takuhiro Kadochi (My Hero Academia episode director) is directing the adaptation at studio CloverWorks, with Konomi Shugo (Tropical-Rouge! Precure) as scriptwriter, Yousuke Okuda (Blend-S) as character designer and Yusuke Shirato (Kochoki) as music composer.

In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki is currently scheduled to air in 2022.
