Tiger & Bunny 2 Confirms April 2022 Release in New Visual

Tiger & Bunny fans, ready for more? The upcoming Tiger & Bunny 2 has officially set a release window, and Netflix has revealed a brand-new visual for the series as well.

That’s right, Tiger & Bunny 2 will stream worldwide in April 2022, which means the return of the dapper working heroes isn’t too far away.

Netflix unveiled the visual and premiere date, and news that Season 1 would be headed to the platform, during its Anime Festival livestream event, where it also revealed info on a number of anime series and live-action projects.

Tiger & Bunny 2, first announced in 2020, is set to focus on the fan-favorite heroes-for-hire Kotetsu T. “Wild Tiger” Kaburagi and Barnaby “Bunny” Brooks as they continue their futuristic hijinks. The series will be directed by Mitsuko Kase at Bandai Namco Pictures.

The series cast includes a number of returning voice actors from the original anime series, including Hiroaki Hirata (God Eater) as Wild Tiger and Masakazu Morita (Bleach) as Bunny, as well as returning series staff Masafumi Nishida and Masakazu Katsura.

Tiger & Bunny first debuted from Sunrise in 2011 to critical and fan acclaim, running for 25 episodes and spawning two anime film sequels, as well as a spin-off, DOUBLE DECKER! DOUG & KIRILL. You can catch the spin-off, subbed and dubbed, right here on Funimation.
