Made in Abyss Season 2 Sets Off with New Trailer and Visual

Ready to delve deep into the next grand adventure? The first trailer, which includes English subtitles, and a new visual, have arrived for the much-anticipated second season of Made in Abyss, subtitled The Golden City of the Scorching Sun!

Bringing three of these new characters to life is Hiroaki Hirata (One Piece) as Wazukyan, Yuka Terasaki (Kiznaiver) as Vueko, and Mitsuki Saiga (Princess Jellyfish) as Belaf, with the addition of Misaki Kuno (The Seven Deadly Sins) as Faputa, pictured in the previous visual below.

And of course, making the return journey is Miyu Tomita (We Never Learn: BOKUBEN) as Riko, Mariya Ise (The Promised Neverland) as Reg and Shiori Izawa (The Asterisk War) as Nanachi!

Based on the manga by Akihito Tsukushi, Made in Abyss is directed by Masayuki Kojima (Monster) at studio Kinema Citrus, with scripts by Hideyuki Kurata (Oreimo) and music by Kevin Penkin (The Rising of the Shield Hero).

The first season aired in Summer 2017 to critical acclaim, and was promptly followed by two compilation films and a sequel film, Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul.
