Tribe Nine, Funimation’s next co-production releasing in January 2022, follows different groups throughout Neo Tokyo as they take part in matches of extreme baseball, which end up being more like action-packed showdowns than anything else.
Paired with a video game project by Too Kyo Games, Akatsuki and Kazutaka Kodaka, the anime is being directed by Yu Aoki at studio LIDEN FILMS (Tokyo Revengers, The Heroic Legend of Arslan), starring Akira Ishida (The Future Diary), Shun Horie (VISUAL PRISON), Chiharu Sawashiro (Caligula) and Junichi Suwabe (My Hero Academia, Kemono Jihen).
