The teasing has reached the next level, as Teasing Master Takagi-san: KARAKAI JOZU NO TAKAGI-SAN just dropped a new visual and trailer, along with a January 7 premiere date in Japan, for its much-anticipated third season!
The trailer brings us back into the fun-filled lives of Takagi and Nishikata, voiced by Rie Takahashi and Yuki Kaji, to the sound of the new opening theme, “Massugu” by Yuiko Ohara (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).
All this teasing will be worth the payoff, because a Teasing Master Takagi-san film is also coming out in Japan next year!

Hiroaki Akagi (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) is returning to direct the third season at studio Shin-Ei Animation, with Aya Takano (Himouto! Umaru-Chan) as character designer and Aki Itami (Fruits Basket (2001)), Hiroko Fukuda (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale) and Kanichi Katou (Black Clover) as scriptwriters.
It’s going to be a great year for Soichiro Yamamoto and fans of his work, since anime adaptations of his other manga, When Will Ayumu Make His Move? and In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, are also lined up for 2022!
