Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Anime Sets Fall 2022 Release with New Visual and Trailer

Itching to go for more Ichigo? Well, the latest news out of Jump Festa 2022 is here to give you all the scratching you need.

The much-anticipated anime adaptation of Bleach‘s Thousand-Year Blood War arc, which was announced in March 2020 has finally released an air date of Fall 2022!

A teaser visual and the first trailer were also revealed, bringing us right back into the perilous world of Soul Reapers, Hollows, and Quincy.

The visual’s tagline reads, “Ichigo Kurosaki, the final battle,” while the trailer revisits all our favorite Bleach characters to the tune of an all-too-familiar bop we’ll be replaying for days:

Tomohisa Taguchi (Akudama Drive) is directing and penning the series at Studio Pierrot, who animated the original series, with Masashi Kudo and Shiro Sagisu returning for character design and music, respectively.

Based on the bestselling manga by Tite Kubo, the original Bleach anime ran for 366 episodes from October 5, 2004 to March 27, 2012. The first 109 episodes are available in the United States, or the first 209 if you’re in Canada, right here on Funimation!
