Just. One. Year. My Hero Academia Season 5 concluded in late September this year, but you won’t be missing it for long, since it was just revealed that Season 6 will begin airing in October 2022!
The announcement was made at the My Hero Academia Super Stage event at Jump Festa 2022, which also unveiled the first full trailer for the much-anticipated continuation of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.

Based on the hit manga by Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia is directed by Kenji Nagasaki at Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), with character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Mushi-Shi) and music by Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!).
A letter from Horikoshi read out at the Jump Festa 2022 stage event noted that the manga “should conclude within the next year,” so we’ll be hit by a double-whammy of feels by the end of 2022. 😢
