The Natra Kingdom is in a bit of a financial pickle at the moment, so we’ve commissioned a new visual in their stead to help signal boost their recovery effort!

Quite the portrait befitting of royalty, if we do say so ourselves…even if that royalty doesn’t want to be there.

You see, unlike other heroic comeback tales, The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt thrusts unwilling genius prince Wein Salema Arbalest into the spotlight. He wants nothing more than to abdicate and enjoy life’s pleasures on his own terms, but instead, he’s saddled with the Natra Kingdom’s woes, and must dig himself out of that hole one shovelful at a time.

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming fantasy anime was also recently released, previewing the opening theme, “LEVEL” by Nagi Yanagi (The Day I Became a God OP) and THE SIXTH LIE (Golden Kamuy ED).

Based on the light novels by Toru Toba, The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt is being directed by Masato Tamagawa (Saint Seiya Saintia Sho) at studio Yokohama Animation Lab (MAGATSU WAHRHEIT), with series composition by Deko Akao (The Case Study of Vanitas) and character designs by Ryunosuke Oji.
