Classic anime and manga fans, rejoice! The 1978 award-winning manga from Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha), Urusei Yatsura, is officially receiving a new anime adaptation!

The new project—the second anime TV series based on the original—is slated for four cours, with a release window set for this year, though an exact date hasn’t been announced.

A teaser trailer and first key visual featuring Lum accompanied the announcement on the series’ official website.

Also revealed were the voice actors for the series two leads, as well as the cutest art for each of them with their characters! Lum will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka (Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro) and Ataru Moroboshi will be voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack on Titan).

The new series will be directed by Hideya Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura at david production (Fire Force, Cells at Work!, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), with Naoyuki Asano on character design and Yūko Kakihara on series composition.
