The new opening theme song for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 can simply be described as metal. And we mean metal.

The series and song premiered only a few days ago, but the opening is rumbling over on YouTube as it trends worldwide. And you’re about to listen to it on repeat:

“The Rumbling” is an emotional anthem written and sung by the Japanese metal band SiM. The high-energy song sounds like it’s coming straight from the heart of Eren Jeager.

“If I lose it all outside the wall, live to die another day,” the band roars. The song is accompanied by an Attack on Titan trip through time, from the earliest days in Trost to the bleak days in Marley and beyond.

The song is currently trending on YouTube. With over 8.5 million views and climbing, it’s obvious “The Rumbling” struck a chord with Titan fans around the globe. And Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 is just getting started.

If the highlights of Eren’s journey make you want to watch it all again, you’ll find every episode, subbed and dubbed, right here on Funimation! Or if you’re looking for something extra, you’ll also find a collection of thrilling side stories about Jean, Levi, Annie and other fan favorites in the Attack on Titan OADs.
