Here’s the debrief on Onipan!, the latest original project from WIT Studio (Ranking of Kings, Great Pretender), which just revealed a visual, teaser trailer and Spring 2022 release date!

The teaser trailer highlights the central ogre trio, voiced by anime newcomers Yume Nozaki, Mika Negishi, and Kokona Nonaka, and their story of love, friendship and underpants.
Also joining them for the ride is Kaori Maeda (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), Miyu Tomita (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) and Kikuko Inoue (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood).

Based on the original concept by Norihiro Naganuma (The Ancient Magus’ Bride director) and designs by Tomari (My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! light novel illustrator), Onipan! is being directed by Masahiko Ohta (Himouto! Umaru-chan) and Jun’ichirō Hashiguchi (Fire Force episode director), with series composition by Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) and adapted character designs by Ryouta Yanagi (Sword Art Online creature design).
