ATLUS Teases New Soul Hackers Project

Must Read

ATLUS has just launched a countdown website, teasing a new project for Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. The countdown is set to end on February 21 at 8 p.m. JST / 6 a.m. EST, presumably with a reveal!

There is also an accompanying Twitter account for the project, with various cryptic posts. These posts mention an entity named “Aion,” who has predicted the end of mankind. ATLUS also aired an “Information Collection Sequence” live stream and displayed random images every 10 minutes.

Since airing, the website was updated to include “Hack Begins: 2022.2.18 FRI 11:00,” which means that another live stream could air before the big reveal.

ATLUS is currently celebrating the Persona 25th anniversary year. The ATLUS Japanese website says that the next Persona-related announcement would come in February. While Soul Hackers isn’t directly tied to Persona, they’re both spin-offs of the wider Shin Megami Tensei umbrella.
