Good news, Dragon Ball Super fans, the latest film in the long-running franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, is officially headed to theaters in North America this summer!

The news was confirmed by Toei Animation during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2022 event, as part of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Super Stage panel.
In addition the Summer 2022 release window for North America, the film’s team also showed off an extended version of the movie’s main visual, with a special surprise: an aged-up Goten and Trunks getting ready to fuse!
The team also showed off some quick footage from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, including one of the film’s new characters, Dr. Hedo, breaking out of prison.
