ATLUS has officially revealed Soul Hackers 2! The highly anticipated sequel will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on August 25 in Japan, followed the next day by a worldwide release!
The game will follow both Ringo and Figure, who are agents of Aion (beings that watch over the world). There are also Devil Summoners, those who can utilize the power of demons. Aion sends both of them to protect two people who can prevent the world’s impending destruction, only to find them already killed.
Ringo has the ability to revive people with Soul Hack, which she uses on Devil Summoners Arrow, Milady and Psyzo. Alongside these Devil Summoners, Ringo and Figure must figure out a sci-fi murder mystery while saving the world.
In Japan, the game will receive a 25th Anniversary Edition for PS4 and PS5 that includes a three-disc music album set, a 100-page anniversary art book and an Aiho-kun figure. A maid outfit and additional demon fusion DLC are included as well.
Those who pre-order the game will receive a special Persona 5 costume and background music DLC set. The costumes include garments of the Persona 5’s Phantom Thieves for the main cast, as well as the “Keeper of Lust” battle music and a Phantom Thief Mask that increases the critical hit rate of shooting-type attacks.
Soul Hackers 2 will also feature English and Japanese voice acting, as well as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese subtitles.
