It’s the week of holy grail announcements, because twelve and a half years after the original anime’s conclusion, Spice and Wolf is getting an all-new anime project!
The official Twitter account, which did not specify whether the project was a sequel or remake, released a visual for the new anime, along with a message from the series’ author and illustrator:
Additional details, such as staff and release date, are yet to be revealed.

Synopsis: Lawrence, a traveling merchant, finds a nude girl with the ears and tail of a wolf asleep in his cart. She is Holo, a harvest goddess with an untamed beast lurking inside.
